Football Recap: Fisher Comes Up Short

Fisher came into this matchup off a tough 36-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers by a score of 32-30 on Friday. The Bunnies' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Despite the loss, Fisher saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Andrew Todd rushed for 147 yards and one score while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also caught one touchdown.

Fisher's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Aurora Central Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Fisher nor Aurora Central Catholic have any future games scheduled.
