Softball Recap: Kalamazoo Christian's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Kalamazoo Christian hadn't done well against Coloma recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Kalamazoo Christian came out on top against Coloma by a score of 7-2. This was a revenge game for Kalamazoo Christian: when they faced off against Coloma on Friday, they had to take a 10-9 defeat.

Allison Howes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Alexis Earley was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Kalamazoo Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-4. As for Coloma, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1-1.
