Volleyball Recap: Winston Academy Has No Trouble Against Clinton Christian Academy

Winston Academy won the last time they faced Clinton Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots blew past the Warriors 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-19.

Maggie Burns had an outrageously good game as she had ten aces and three digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024.

Burns wasn't the only good server: Winston Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive games.

Winston Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Winston Academy and Clinton Christian Academy will both be playing Heritage Academy the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Patriots at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
