Cypress Creek fell victim to Memorial and their airtight pitching crew last Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Mustangs. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, everything went Cy-Fair's way against Stratford last Friday as Cy-Fair made off with a 7-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.

Cy-Fair's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Cypress Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1.
