Volleyball Game Preview: Warren Bears vs. Bellflower Buccaneers

The Warren Bears will venture away from home to square off against the Bellflower Buccaneers at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Warren took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Gahr 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Gladiators: they've now won seven in a row.

One reason for the win was Warren's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Bellflower got the win against Paramount on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Bellflower might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Paramount scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-22.

Warren pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Bellflower, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Everything went Warren's way against Bellflower in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Warren made off with a 3-0 win. Will Warren repeat their success, or does Bellflower has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
