Baseball Recap: Chateaugay Comes Up Short

Chateaugay came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks, falling 20-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-3 on May 2nd.

Chateaugay now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Tupper Lake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chateaugay is set to face off against their familiar foe Brushton-Moira on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tupper Lake will square off against rival Madrid-Waddington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
