Basketball Game Preview: West Point Green Wave vs. Clarksdale Wildcats

The West Point Green Wave will challenge the Clarksdale Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, West Point came up short against Pontotoc and fell 39-31. The contest marked the Green Wave's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Clarksdale hadn't done well against Lafayette recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Clarksdale came out on top against Lafayette by a score of 62-54.

Clarksdale's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for West Point, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
