Riverside came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Montrose Meteors. The result was nothing new for Riverside, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Montrose with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from John Chilleri (3), Luis Pereira, and Caleb Sosa.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Montrose, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
