Football Recap: Morristown-Hamblen East Takes a Loss

Morristown-Hamblen East fell victim to Hardin Valley Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Hawks, falling 34-0. The Hurricanes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Morristown-Hamblen East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hardin Valley Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Morristown-Hamblen East will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against David Crockett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hardin Valley Academy, they will head out to face off against Bradley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Hawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
