The San Augustine Wolves will head out on the road to square off against the Waskom Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

San Augustine is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 62-35 victory over Groveton. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won eight in a row.

San Augustine's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Max Renfro, who threw for 315 yards and five TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Those 315 passing yards gave Renfro a new career-high. Another player making a difference was D'Adrian Renfro, who gained 153 total yards.

San Augustine didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jamarion Davis and Ja'Corryan Lacy.

Meanwhile, Waskom was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Cooper 41-14. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.
