Volleyball Recap: Huntington Takes a Loss

The Huntington Highlanders came up short against the Poca Dots on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Huntington was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22.

Huntington's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-2. As for Poca, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-0-2 record this season.

Huntington will head out to challenge Wayne at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Poca, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Roane County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
