Baseball Game Preview: Rosemont Wolverines vs. Argonaut Mustangs

For the second straight game, Rosemont will face off against Argonaut. The Wolverines will welcome the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rosemont has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 22.

On Tuesday, Rosemont didn't have quite enough to beat Argonaut and fell 3-2.

For Argonaut's part, the team relied heavily on Clayton Hardy, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Hardy is becoming a predictor of the Mustangs' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-11 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Marcus Scaife, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Rosemont's loss dropped their record down to 7-16-1. As for Argonaut, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.
