Recap: Kress Kangaroos vs. Nazareth Swifts
The Kress Kangaroos lost against the Nazareth Swifts back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Kress was dealt a 84-31 defeat at the hands of the Swifts. Kress has not had much luck with the Swifts recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Kress lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Calin Teeple, who scored six points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Morphis, who scored 12 points.
Kress has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Nazareth, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kress will take on the Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Nazareth, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. Lazbuddie is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
