 The Walther Christian Academy Broncos will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against the Chicago Marshall Commandos at 7:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Walther Christian Academy walked away with it. They claimed a resounding  80-24 victory over the Raiders at home. Walther Christian Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Walther Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Saniyya Harvey led the charge by  scoring 34 points along with three  steals. Harvey is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed three or more in the last seven games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tamia Allen, who  scored 12 points along with five  steals.
 Meanwhile, Chicago Marshall had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they went ahead and made it four last Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Austin College and Career Academy 74-26 on the road. Chicago Marshall's victory was all the more impressive since Austin College and Career Academy was averaging only 27.25 points allowed on the season.
 Chicago Marshall found their leader in underclassman  Janiyah Green, who  scored 30 points along with two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Green has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Ja'Una Williams, who  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds and five  assists.
 Walther Christian Academy's victory was  their 11th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-14. They've been dominating during the  matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.6 points. As for Chicago Marshall, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record  this season.
 Things could have been worse for Walther Christian Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a  59-45 loss to Chicago Marshall in their previous meeting  back in February of 2019.
