Basketball Game Preview: St. Teresa's Catholic Crusaders vs. Colquitt Christian Academy Cavaliers

The St. Teresa's Catholic Crusaders will square off against the Colquitt Christian Academy Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

St. Teresa's Catholic is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering First Academy just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

St. Teresa's Catholic's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Michael Richard, who posted 21 points, and Dyland Rangel, who had 14 points. The contest was Richard's fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colquitt Christian Academy). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-43 victory over First Academy on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavaliers.

Colquitt Christian Academy picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for St. Teresa's Catholic, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.

St. Teresa's Catholic took their victory against Colquitt Christian Academy in their previous meeting last Friday by a conclusive 61-40. Will St. Teresa's Catholic repeat their success, or does Colquitt Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
