 The Plainfield Quakers will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Center Grove Trojans at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Plainfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7  runs per game  this season.
 Plainfield might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  10-8 to Harrison, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The  defeat   continues a  trend for Plainfield in their matchups with Harrison: they've now lost six in a row.

 Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Center Grove, their victory was  their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 16-1.
 Plainfield couldn't quite finish off Center Grove when the teams last played  back in May of 2023 and fell  9-7. Thankfully for Plainfield,  Caden Cornett (who   struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits) won't be suiting up this time.
