Recap: Mills University Studies Comets vs. Robinson Senators
Even though The Mills University Studies Comets have not done well against the Robinson Senators recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Mills University Studies walked away with a 30-21 victory over Robinson. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mills University Studies.
Mills University Studies can attribute much of their success to Akyell Madison, who rushed for 102 yards on only 13 carries, and also threw for 188 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.2% of his passes. Jeremy Edwards made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Jaylen Knowlton and Nick Abrams, Robinson certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Knowlton rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, while Abrams rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Mills University Studies' win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Robinson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.
Mills University Studies will take on Morrilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Robinson, they will head out on the road to face off against White Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (White Hall is ranked 47th, while Robinson is ranked 30th).
