Taholah waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Willapa Valley Vikings. This was a revenge game for the Chitwhins: when they faced off against the Vikings back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Taholah had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-18.

Willapa Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lauren Matlock, who had 26 assists and three aces. Paislee Hurley was another key player, getting ten kills and four blocks.

Taholah's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Willapa Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-3.

Taholah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lake Quinault on the 16th. As for Willapa Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Pe Ell on the 20th.
