Medina extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They took their match with ease, bagging an 87-37 victory over the Incarnate Word Academy Angels. Fans of the Bobcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Incarnate Word Academy fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Damian Salazar and Eli Becker certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Salazar rushed for 158 yards and a pair of scores, while Becker gained 137 total yards and three touchdowns. Becker showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 54 yards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Medina will take on Runge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they will square off against Bruni at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
