Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Hunter

Hunter had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Westlake Thunder. This was payback for the Wolverines, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Westlake saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Autumn Burke had 19 digs and one assist.

Hunter's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Westlake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Hunter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Mountain Crest on the 6th. As for Westlake, they will face off against Cedar Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
