Dashaun Mckoy Turns in Season-Best Performance

Sadly, Dashaun Mckoy posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Harrells Christian Academy over Ravenscroft on Friday. Mckoy rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making 11 total tackles and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

Harrells Christian Academy moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. Mckoy and Harrells Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Davin Mccoy was a major factor in North Raleigh Christian Academy's win over Wake Christian Academy on Thursday. Nobody could stop Mccoy as he made four total tackles and defended a pass. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. Mccoy and North Raleigh Christian Academy will host Ravenscroft at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Williams Came Up Big in Ravenscroft's 38-35 Win

Ravenscroft took down Harrells Christian Academy on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Brandon Williams's standout effort. Williams did his part (and then some), making 17 total tackles (1.0 for loss) for the 'W'.

Ravenscroft's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. Williams and Ravenscroft are taking a road trip to square off against North Raleigh Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Oehlke rushed for 98 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 247 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.
