Softball Recap: Choctawhatchee Takes a Loss

Choctawhatchee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Walton Braves. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Choctawhatchee's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Walton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Choctawhatchee will square off against Niceville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walton, they will face off against Arnold at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Marlins' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Braves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
