Baseball Recap: Calvary Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Academy lost against Gloucester County Christian back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warrior came up short against the Conquerors, falling 13-1. The Warrior have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvary Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shawn Fraumeni, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Calvary Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Gloucester County Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Academy will square off against King's Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warrior's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season. As for Gloucester County Christian, they will take on Woodstown at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
