Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Broward Prep). Everything went their way against the Pine Crest Panthers on Wednesday as the North Broward Prep Eagles made off with a 78-58 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

North Broward Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Smith, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 22 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Smith a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luigi Borio, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds.

North Broward Prep was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pine Crest only racked up 12 assists.

Rowan Hoffman and Ethan Mott certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Hoffman dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 boards, while Mott posted 20 points and seven rebounds. Hoffman is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kareem Khouri, who scored five points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for North Broward Prep, bringing their record for this year to 11-11. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for Pine Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.

North Broward Prep has already played their next game, an 80-66 win against Miami Country Day on the 24th. As for Pine Crest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-43 victory against Benjamin on the 24th.
