Softball Recap: Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia came out on top against Pawnee on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fifth inning. The Trojans blew past the Indians 10-0. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Addilynn Tracy, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Rohn, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Pawnee, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia will venture away from home to challenge North Mac at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.75 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Pawnee, they will head out on the road to take on Auburn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
