Baseball Recap: West Carroll Takes a Loss

West Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 14-0 to the Galena Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Tuesday.

West Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Galena, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Carroll is set to face off against their familiar foe East Dubuque at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Galena will square off against rival Fulton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
