Soccer Recap: Burlington Takes a Loss

Burlington lost against Arlington back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Red Devils came up short against the Spy Ponders, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Burlington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Arlington are ranked 15th).

Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Arlington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burlington will face off against rival Wakefield Memorial at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Arlington is set to take on their familiar foe Reading Memorial at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
