Purvis's leading receiver did his thing again on Friday. Paxton Cooper produced his best game of the campaign: he picked up 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 56 yards.

Cooper and Purvis will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Central at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
