Football Recap: Athens Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Athens's offense. They had to suffer through a 54-0 loss at the hands of the Morenci Bulldogs. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Athens' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Morenci, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Athens will host Mendon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Morenci, they will challenge Camden-Frontier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
