West Texas is 8-2 against Gruver since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The West Texas Comanches will be playing at home against the Gruver Greyhounds at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

West Texas will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Highland Park on Wednesday. West Texas blew past Highland Park 23-5. Considering the Comanches have won three games by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Gruver can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Highland Park with a sharp 19-12 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Greyhounds considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Gruver's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for West Texas, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3.

West Texas took their victory against Gruver in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1. Does West Texas have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gruver turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
