Softball Recap: Northgate Takes a Loss

Northgate lost against South Allegheny on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Flames came up short against the Gladiators, falling 14-1. That's two games in a row now that the Flames have lost by exactly 13 runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Northgate and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for South Allegheny, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northgate will challenge rival Apollo Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South Allegheny is set to take on their familiar foe Springdale at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
