Lewisburg faced Lake Cormorant in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Patriots fell 2-0 to Lake Cormorant. The Patriots haven't had much luck with Lake Cormorant recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lewisburg's loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Lake Cormorant, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-8.

Looking ahead, Lewisburg will be playing at home against Northpoint Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Cormorant, they will challenge Olive Branch at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
