Baseball Recap: Citrus Comes Up Short on the Road Against Central

Citrus had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 11-8 to the Central Bears on Tuesday. The Hurricanes were probably out for revenge after losing 5-1 to them when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Citrus saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Beck, who scored two runs and stole one base while going 2-for-4. What's more, Beck also racked up four innings, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Cade Arnold was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing one base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Citrus will head out on the road to challenge Hernando at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. Central has already played their next contest (against Cypress Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
