Volleyball Recap: Benet Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Lockport

Benet Academy faced Lockport in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Redwings fell just short of the Porters by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Redwings' undefeated start to the season.

Katelyn Nelson was the offensive standout of the game as she had nine digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).

Having lost for the first time this season, Benet Academy fell to 4-1. As for Lockport, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
