After flying high against Fulton last Tuesday, Seymour came back down to earth. The Seymour Eagles fell 3-1 to the Northview Academy Cougars on Thursday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.

Sydney Cole went supernova for Northview Academy, getting 23 digs and four aces. With that strong performance, Cole is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.
Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Northview Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Seymour will take on Austin-East at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Seymour is facing Austin-East at the right time seeing as Austin-East is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. Northview Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
