Baseball Recap: South Gibson Comes Up Short

South Gibson came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to the Greeneville Greene Devils. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Greene Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

South Gibson's loss dropped their record down to 31-9. As for Greeneville, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 32-8.

South Gibson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Greeneville has already played their next matchup (against Munford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
