Preview: West Montgomery vs. North Moore
West Montgomery have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on North Moore at 7:00 PM. West Montgomery don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
After soaring to 82 points the game before, West Montgomery faltered in their match last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-42 to South Stanly. The state rankings had actually given West Montgomery a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, North Moore have had to suffer through a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were able to grind out a solid victory over South Davidson last Friday, winning 21-12. It took four tries, but North Moore can finally say that they have a win on the road.
West Montgomery simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat North Moore 54-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Montgomery since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
