Basketball Recap: Preston's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Preston was the 43-37 winner over Green Canyon when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Preston Indians received a blow on Friday as they fell 53-38 to the Green Canyon Wolves.

Green Canyon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Talyssa Nelson out in front who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Eliza Seedall, who put up ten points and eight rebounds.

Preston's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Green Canyon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Preston will head out to square off against Pocatello at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for Green Canyon, they will head out on the road to face off against Sky View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
