Volleyball Recap: Tinora's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

After a string of 13 wins, Tinora's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Patrick Henry Patriots by a score of 3-2. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Tinora started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 27-29, 25-21, 25-16, 15-12.

Tatum Creps paced Tinora's offense, picking up 30 kills. Creps got some help from Ella Schaublin and her 48 assists. Schaublin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Tinora's loss dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Patrick Henry, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Tinora wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Archbold on the 27th. As for Patrick Henry, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Bluffton on the 29th.
