Volleyball Recap: Pearl Takes a Loss

Pearl was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alcorn Central Bears.

Pearl's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Alcorn Central, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Pearl and Alcorn Central will both be playing Union the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Yellowjackets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
