Softball Recap: Kingsburg Vikings vs. Clovis West Golden Eagles
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Kingsburg and Clovis West, and Clovis West kept the tradition alive. Kingsburg fell just short of Clovis West by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. Sarah Urbieta was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two doubles, and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Woods, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
