Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lane Tech couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were dealt a 45-10 loss at the hands of the Oswego Panthers on Saturday. The Champions' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Lane Tech didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aiden Boywid and Britton Perkins. That interception marked the first that Boywid has snagged this season.

Lane Tech's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Oswego, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Lane Tech nor Oswego have any future games scheduled.
