Volleyball Game Preview: Clifton-Clyde Eagles vs. Flint Hills Christian Warriors

The Clifton-Clyde Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Flint Hills Christian Warriors at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.

On Tuesday, Clifton-Clyde came up short against Valley Heights and fell 2-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14.

Despite the defeat, Clifton-Clyde saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Scout Skocny had 12 digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Flint Hills Christian waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-10, 26-22.

Clifton-Clyde's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Flint Hills Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Clifton-Clyde beat Flint Hills Christian 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
