Baseball Recap: Seneca East Comes Up Short

Seneca East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Mohawk Warriors, falling 13-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since April 23rd.

Seneca East saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colten Ehresman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Seneca East's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Mohawk, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Seneca East will welcome Columbian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mohawk, they will venture away from home to face off against Van Buren at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Black Knights will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
