Baseball Recap: Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

Heritage Academy came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Shalom Christian Academy Flames, falling 10-2. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Flames: they've now lost five in a row.

Heritage Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Hollinger, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Heritage Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Shalom Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Heritage Academy will venture away from home to face off against Grace Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Shalom Christian Academy, they will square off against York County Tech at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday.
