Basketball Recap: Blue Valley Southwest Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Bartlesville came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Blue Valley Southwest, but Lily Unruh wouldn't allow it. The Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves walked away with a 58-51 win over the Bartlesville Bruins on Friday thanks in part to Unruh, who went 10 of 14 en route to 21 points and three steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Blue Valley Southwest and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Bartlesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Blue Valley Southwest has already played their next matchup, a 55-49 win against Fort Scott on the 25th. Bartlesville has also already played their next game (against Muskogee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
