Volleyball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tongue River Eagles. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Tongue River found their leader in sophomore Lily Maslowski, who had seven digs and two aces. Maslowski has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Riverside has already played their next game (against Dubois), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Tongue River, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Burlington on the 29th.
