Manusamoa Luuga and
Gerard Wicks combined for 211 yards rushing and three scores and the defense did the rest, leading Long Beach Poly (9-3) to a Pac-5 quarterfinal victory over nationally ranked Mission Viejo, which mustered just 7 yards on the ground. Mission Viejo's
Alex Suchesk, a transfer from Santa Margarita, managed just 38 yards rushing but scored both of his team's touchdowns. A late drive to the Poly 22 was squelched on a sack from
Roman Wiant, helping Long Beach to hold on downs. Poly will host St. John Bosco in the Pac-5 semis.

Josh Rosen led his team to victory. The sophomore leads the nation's No. 1 team and he tied it with 3:11 left before again leading a drive for the winning score with 1:17 remaining, according to the
Long Beach Press-Telegram. St. John Bosco held
Khalfani Muhammad to 39 yards on 15 carries.

The Eagles stormed back and scored 14 points in the final 3:42 to force overtime, according to the
Ventura County Star.
Zachary Green scored the game winner on a 1-yard run, and he carried on seven-straight plays in the extra period. Santa Margarita went four-and-out on its overtime attempt. Santa Margarita will host Mater Dei in the Pac-5 semis.

Robert Webber threw four touchdown passes, two long ones to
Troy Dye, as the Huskies broke loose for 65 points in the middle quarters to win the Inland Division playoff game going away,
according to the Press-Enterprise.
Vista Murrieta (Murrieta) 31, Norco 16It wasn't much of an offensive show for Vista Murrieta (11-0), which committed four turnovers, but it did enough defensively to advance to the Inland semifinals.
According to the
Press-Enterprise, the Broncos allowed only 133 total yards and got a key 20-yard touchdown run by
Kishawn Holmes to go ahead in the second quarter before a 55-yard scoring sprint by
Bezhawn Hill just before halftime that give Vista Murrieta a commanding 21-8 lead it would never relinquish.
