Softball Recap: Northwest Area Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Northwest Area's offense. They came up short against the North Pocono Trojans on Monday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Rangers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Northwest Area saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalia Ninotti, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Northwest Area's defeat dropped their record down to 5-1. As for North Pocono, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Area will venture away from home to challenge Columbia Montour Vo-Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Pocono, they will head out to take on Valley View at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
