Volleyball Game Preview: East Davidson Golden Eagles vs. West Davidson Dragons + How To Watch

East Davidson hasn't had much luck against West Davidson recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Dragons at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, East Davidson turned things around against Thomasville on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-3, 25-16.

Meanwhile, West Davidson posted their closest victory since August 25th on Tuesday. They skirted past Trinity 3-2. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

West Davidson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 21-25, 25-20, 25-18, 16-14.

West Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for East Davidson, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.

East Davidson might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from West Davidson when the teams last played two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Dragons' Cheyenne Hedrick, who had 26 digs and two aces.
